I have been working extra hard with the run up to the exhibition, both painting and doing all the other necessary non-painting stuff. I was beginning to feel a little fried, and yet at the same time completely unable to take some time off. And then an amazing trip to the NY Botanical Gardens with dear friends appeared as if by magic, and oh was it worth it! The peonies are beyond words. Today I am feeling refreshed, recharged and so inspired by all the beautiful colors and sunshine I soaked up...so painting cats and flowers it is!
